1. Precision Mechanical Fixing (Ventilated Facades):
This advanced method involves precisely securing stone panels to a robust sub-frame (typically metal) that is securely anchored to the main building structure using specialized fasteners. A crucial ventilated cavity is created between the stone panels and the underlying wall, which:
Allows for essential air circulation, managing moisture and preventing condensation build-up. Significantly improves thermal performance.
Accommodates the natural expansion and contraction of the stone due to temperature fluctuations, preventing stress. Enables individual panel replacement if ever required, ensuring long-term flexibility and ease of maintenance.
